Just basic accomodations, but good enough since we did not spent much time in the Hotel room. The room had a private balcony and the view was awesome. Close to a metro station and walking distance to Las Ramblas and many other tourist sites

The breakfast was excellent. The room was clean and the staff very good and extremely helpful. It was an excellent location for getting around the city and some very good restuarants close by. One problem we did have was there was no chair in the room which was a problem for my wife who had a bad back after asking at the reception if a chair could be provided, I was told that they couldn't provide one.

For a night cap or as we found on our last day a really good meal the bar next to the hotel was great

Clean basic but comforatable room,no views etc but ideal situation for Bacalona visit.
Staff helpful and recomended places to eat if asked.
Enjoyed stay.
£70-80 euros about max to pay though

Recommend La Luna restuarant - Avoid Monchos at the port. Rude managment and paella poor

Renovated recently ? Our room had loose floor tiles, chiped and ill fitting tiles in the bathroom, a frayed towel and had to ask for schampoo on the last day ! No cotton buds and other toiletries you would expect in a 4 star! TV very basic with only a limited range of international channels.
Top Tip
Some very good and interesting restaurants on Carrerr Commerc and Picasso in the Born district. For top end try Commerc 24 - but book in advance!

Good hotel for a group on a bday celebration. I travel a lot on business and would be happy with this if I was away working also.
Nice decor, air con, good brekkie, good location, beach 5 mins in one direction & las ramblas 5 mins in the other. Some of the rooms had no views other than walls but that wasn't an issue for us, we were out most of the time.

Not all rooms have a view (of anything really!) but are of a good size and modern. Would have liked tea/coffee facilities although loads of cafes/bars v.near.
Top Tip
Very close to old cathedral square. Be careful crossing very busy road.

Unfortuantely you have to keep asking for food at breakfast as there was never anything left. The trays were not automatically re-filled.
Everything was cold and you have to always have food heated. No water/no brown bread/no fresh fruit. The food selection was poor.

V good location, as just down from Placa Catalunya, near to Cathedral, and easy walk to the Marina area. Not expensive by Barcelona standards. Free mini bar (plenty of water & soft drinks) refilled every day
Top Tip
Use the Red and Blue turistic bus tours. Good value and covers most of the highlights of the city. Discount books you get with the tickets come in handy too. If you visit Sagrada Familia, use the second lift around the back end, not the first one on your way in. Or you'll be queueing for ages. If visiting the Nou Camp, don't use Hot dog food outlet outside - expensive and poor quality. Hard Rock cafe on Placa Catalunya lively and reasonably priced. Go up inside Colombus column - there's a lift, no steps to climb, and great views. Gaudi's Casa Batilo very overpriced entrance fee.
