Our Review

The height of cool modern design in the city centre, within easy walking distance of the Ramblas and across the road from the Gothic Quarter. To promote the feel of a calm, quiet, peaceful retreat, the hotel has dim lighting throughout, accompanied by soothing piped music. Some may find the interior a little dark, but it's certainly relaxing. In summer the rooftop pool is one of the best spots in Barcelona for a great view whilst taking a dip to cool off.

The Grand Central's standard rooms all have two 2 x 1 metre beds with 100% cotton sheets. These rooms are a good size for Barcelona starting at 20 square metres.

     our shower leaked ...             The standard double was on the small side ...             badlydesigned bathrooms giving very little privacy...             rooms were cleaned every day ...             blackout blinds in the room is excellent ...             Free soft drink mini bar was a lovely touch...             Only surprise was the glass wall on the bathroom! ...             found the rooms to be too dark and unable to dress and make up no full length mirror needs better lighting....             Although the rooms are compact you have everything at your fingertips!...             The rooms are great...             Our room was clean and very comfortable...             comfortable...             room surprisingly quiet...             Free chilled soft drinks provided in room ...             Safe deposit box and hairdryer provided in room...             Bed Rooms a bit sparce...
