A good central location close to all the attractions but away from the crowds.
There is a tube station 20m away.

Perfect location to explore Barcelona, all within easy reach. Hotel delivered on all levels. Rooms are very comfortable, breakfast was a very pleasant experience.
Top Tip
So many restaurants it is hard to pick any out. We did all 3 Open Top Bus routes, great way to see 'everything'.

The hotel is well located and most attractions are within walking distance. Some people have commented on some noise at this hotel, although you could hear the Metro it wasn't sufficient to keep any of my party awake. We all slept well in the comfortable beds.
Top Tip
Don't spend too long on the Ramblas just walk down it once if you have to then go and explore further afield. The magic fountains are well worth seeing but we couldn't find anywhere nice to eat in that area(Montjuic) so come back towards Place Catalunya to eat. I can recommend the Tapas at Cuitat Comtal. It gets very busy so put your name down for a table as soon as you go in for a drink. It is situated on Rambla Catalunya on the corner of the Avenida Palace Hotel. Walk straight up the hill from Cafe Zurich in Place Catalunya. We loved the Pedrera(Casa Mila)well worth the entrance fee to get in and look around. Try to get there early as there was an hour wait at 11am on Sunday however when we went back on Monday at 9.00 we walked straight in. The Segrada Familia is impressive but you don't see much more for the EUR11 entrance fee than you can see from the outside.

definitely recommend this hotel - it's a 10min walk from the main hub of ramblas, but also means its quiet and can sleep. beautiful contemporary, clean, new decor. REALLY comfortable bed. opening window a plus. Very happy.

As a city center hotel in Barcelona for us it was good, the pool was a great additional feature and although no restaurant the snacks and lunches were good. Near to shops and the Ramblas. Taxis were not too expensive so we parked rather than drive right to the hotel.
Top Tip
The one way system was a bit tricky,as traffic was fast flowing. Too many things to mention depends on your taste.
Eating out good value in more Spanish older hotels, perhaps found in more discrete streets.
