The rooms are a good size for Barcelona and especially the Gothic Quarter. They have cherry red laminate floors and make good use of frosted glass, creams and dark blues. The overall effect is stylish modern rooms that provide a high level of comfort and good range of facilities. The bathrooms are clean, modern with lots of marble and glass. All bathrooms have a window. The Duc De La Victoria has 156 rooms, of which 46 are doubles, 97 twins, 5 superior rooms and 1 single. Triple rooms are on request and made by providing an extra bed in the large twin rooms. There are also 7 junior Suites, comprising a queen size bed and sofa bed along with 2 TVs. Maximum occupancy per room is 3 adults plus an infant/cot. Inter-connecting rooms of which there are 6 sets, one per floor, where both of the rooms are accessible by one lockable door that leads to the hallway. These rooms are only ever on request and cannot be guaranteed. Child policy is up to 12 years there is no charge for the extra bed or breakfast. Safe deposit boxes are in all rooms and there is no charge for their use. The hotel does have a non-smoking floor.
