Our Review

The Ramblas hotel gets a large number of bookings because of its name and its location, in the heart of things, on the Ramblas. Many rooms are either noisy with a good view or internal rooms with no view or window. It is a standard 3-star hotel and nothing more. The truth is that there are usually better value hotels nearby. That said it gets reasonable feedback, with some very happy and others rather disappointed.

Rooms are generally a good size, they are all en-suite and comfortable. The bedrooms are variable, some are large and well decorated, others face the Ramblas so although you have a view they can be noisy at night. The quieter rooms tend to be internal with no windows, and therefore not ideal for most. Rooms are allocated on a first come first serve basis. Quad rooms are made up of a triple with an extra bed. The family rooms are larger rooms with one double bed in the main room and a sofa bed and single in the small room next door. The Ramblas Hotel has 91 rooms in total, 43 twins, 20 doubles, 20 triples, 4 quad rooms and 4 Family rooms.

Very small room ... Uncomfortable beds ... Large spacious roomsCleaned daily... room was kept clean ... A room with a window would have been good... room was changed for the rest of stay and was excellent... rooms very clean... air conditioning in room very noisy... It was pretty noisy... Ask for a room in back as La Rambla is busy all night ... Our french windows opened onto a dull brick wall ... The room was small ... view from it bad... Definately try and get room with Balcony... The room was anything but beautiful ... just needed bin and mirror in bedroom...
